One More Month.......

Yes, one more month and Zasha will be a year old!! Can you believe it? Zasha is walking and quite well I think. He is such a character and doesn't let much hold him back. He is almost over being sick and I think the Cedar is playing with his sinuses. Teething has been HELL on the little guy, he now has 8 front teeth and molars working in. School is going GREAT! Zasha loves his teacher Mrs. Donita, she's very funny! I love my job and have an awesome schedule, 8-5 Monday thru Friday. No nights, weekends or Holidays!!! I have to start getting ready to leave for work now,but will post more this evening with pictures. We hope everyone is doing well!

A week of work

Well, I survived my first week back to work and training. It was very educational and a lot of fun getting to know the children. Zasha is making new friends and having new routines. His teachers are wonderful and the classroom has lots to explore. They also have an outdoor area for even the little guys and a ball pit. Here is a picture of Zasha his first day receiving am snacks.

Unfortunately, Zasha caught a cold and a very nasty bug the later part of the week. Stan had him at the doctors on Friday but, nothing they could do (let it run it's course). Needless to say it was not a pretty weekend with the washer going constantly.I don't think much clothing or bedding survived the wrath of that BUG! Poor Zasha!! Then Saturday mommy finally caught it. For now Stan is in the clear, just totally exhausted from caring for us when he wasn't working. Recovery is a little slow for Zasha with his appetite, I'm sure we will be normal again soon.

Here's My Photo Meme

Erin tagged me for this meme....

Here's what you do:
Open your picture files, pick the 6th folder and the 6th picture and explain it, then tag 6 people.

This picture was taken March 10,2008. I know it's not too flattering of me though, I was holding my beautiful baby boy right after delivery! It is so hard to believe that we are closing in on one year, where did the time go?

Now it's your turn.......Gwen (Again..so sorry!),Momma Buys,Chris, Chip and Kylene

Finally...

Well, as you all know it's been a long hunt for employment for me and on Tuesday I was hired at an amazing daycare. I begin my training on Monday for a week followed by a schedule 9am-6pm Monday thru Friday.I will be an assistant teacher to 2 1/2 -3 year old. And YES Zasha goes to the same facility with me. For anyone interested to see the Rainbow Station you can see the site by clicking on the link.

We have been very busy preparing for our transition to daycare from home and getting on a not so relaxed schedule. Zasha received his eviction notice on Sunday to sleep in his room like a BIG boy. Needless to say the first few nights weren't so pleasant. I was up several times in the night rocking him back to sleep and even sleeping on his bedroom floor. Last night on the other hand was amazing he slept through the night from 7:30pm to 8:00am! Zasha also took his first three steps on Christmas, what a gift! Today he finally said "Ma Ma", he has been saying Da Da, Lilly, Bob and Ball. It sounds like he is also trying to say Book.

As you can see things are going Great for us, things just took awhile to fall into place. I have a feeling 2009 is going to be an awesome year! We hope that everyone is as blessed as we are, just keep faith. Good things happen to good people! Lots of Love to all and we will post again soon!

Happy New Year

We hope everyone had the most joyous holiday and a great start to 2009! We had a very nice Christmas week with Gramma & Grampa Buys. Zasha had a great first Christmas and not sure what to play with first. We have lots of pictures so bear with me as I try to post as many as possible for all to see. We visited the Voorhees family in Houston, spent quality family time and took a trip the Mandola Winery in Wimberly. Stan and I rang in our first New Year NOT working with a Champagne toast at home. WOW that was nice!
Back to reality now that holidays are over. Stan and I went for a drive today in search of Daycare for Zasha and employment for me. Well, we stumbled upon a beautiful facility that opened this past June with an opening in the infant room and looking to hire a teacher for the toddler room 2 1/2 - 3 years. I filled out an application and interviewed immediately with the director. Things went pretty well and I was asked to shadow the lead teacher tomorrow morning, whom will be going on maternity leave at the end of March. Hopefully I will be hired following tomorrows events, Please Pray for me! We will keep you posted of our goings ons and love to hear about yours. Lots of Love until next time!
