Finally...

Well, as you all know it's been a long hunt for employment for me and on Tuesday I was hired at an amazing daycare. I begin my training on Monday for a week followed by a schedule 9am-6pm Monday thru Friday.I will be an assistant teacher to 2 1/2 -3 year old. And YES Zasha goes to the same facility with me. For anyone interested to see the Rainbow Station you can see the site by clicking on the link.

We have been very busy preparing for our transition to daycare from home and getting on a not so relaxed schedule. Zasha received his eviction notice on Sunday to sleep in his room like a BIG boy. Needless to say the first few nights weren't so pleasant. I was up several times in the night rocking him back to sleep and even sleeping on his bedroom floor. Last night on the other hand was amazing he slept through the night from 7:30pm to 8:00am! Zasha also took his first three steps on Christmas, what a gift! Today he finally said "Ma Ma", he has been saying Da Da, Lilly, Bob and Ball. It sounds like he is also trying to say Book.

As you can see things are going Great for us, things just took awhile to fall into place. I have a feeling 2009 is going to be an awesome year! We hope that everyone is as blessed as we are, just keep faith. Good things happen to good people! Lots of Love to all and we will post again soon!

Happy New Year

We hope everyone had the most joyous holiday and a great start to 2009! We had a very nice Christmas week with Gramma & Grampa Buys. Zasha had a great first Christmas and not sure what to play with first. We have lots of pictures so bear with me as I try to post as many as possible for all to see. We visited the Voorhees family in Houston, spent quality family time and took a trip the Mandola Winery in Wimberly. Stan and I rang in our first New Year NOT working with a Champagne toast at home. WOW that was nice!
Back to reality now that holidays are over. Stan and I went for a drive today in search of Daycare for Zasha and employment for me. Well, we stumbled upon a beautiful facility that opened this past June with an opening in the infant room and looking to hire a teacher for the toddler room 2 1/2 - 3 years. I filled out an application and interviewed immediately with the director. Things went pretty well and I was asked to shadow the lead teacher tomorrow morning, whom will be going on maternity leave at the end of March. Hopefully I will be hired following tomorrows events, Please Pray for me! We will keep you posted of our goings ons and love to hear about yours. Lots of Love until next time!

We Hope Your Christmas is Bright!!

It's Been Awhile....

Things are great here with us! Decorating is complete, we had snow about a week and a half ago- pretty neat. Zasha had a doctor appointment Tuesday with rave reviews in his development. He weighed in at 20 1/2 lbs 45th percentile and 29 inches tall 55th percentile. Now we are just getting ready for Grama and Grampa Buys arrival next week. Yeah!! We can't wait! We hope everyone has a Great Christmas and Happy New Year! There are new pictures to be seen so pay attention and I'm sure I won't be able to post again until January, so all our love and we will be with each and everyone in spirit through the holidays!!

Jesus VS Santa

With weeks before Christmas REMEMBER:

JESUS is Better than Santa

Santa lives at the North Pole.

JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh

JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year

JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies

JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited

JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart.

You have to stand in line to see Santa

JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap

JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or
girl, What's your name?"

JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our
address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs
are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly

JESUS has a heart full of love.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO

JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says "You better not cry"

JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.

Santa's little helpers make toys

JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds
mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but

JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree

JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison.

We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.

We need to put Christ back in Christmas.

Jesus is still the reason for the season.

May the Lord Bless and Watch over you and your loved ones this Christmas 2008

And may He prosper and bless the work of your hands in the New Year.

God bless you all!
