Jesus VS Santa

With weeks before Christmas REMEMBER:

JESUS is Better than Santa

Santa lives at the North Pole.

JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh

JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year

JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies

JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited

JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart.

You have to stand in line to see Santa

JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap

JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or
girl, What's your name?"

JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our
address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs
are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly

JESUS has a heart full of love.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO

JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says "You better not cry"

JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.

Santa's little helpers make toys

JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds
mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but

JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree

JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison.

We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.

We need to put Christ back in Christmas.

Jesus is still the reason for the season.

May the Lord Bless and Watch over you and your loved ones this Christmas 2008

And may He prosper and bless the work of your hands in the New Year.

God bless you all!

Getting the Spirit

Yes, we are getting the Christmas Spirit! Sorry it's been awhile since the last post, we've been busy decorating and chasing the Little Z. Pictures will be following soon of our decorations and Little Claus.
As some know from reading Erin's blog, her mommy and my Aunt Christie isn't feeling well and is having some very important tests done. We won't have any results until early next week, I am asking that everyone reading this blog keep her in your prayers! The power of prayer is a beautiful thing! The Grien family is so blessed to have her, and by the way Happy 28th Anniversary Uncle Rob and Aunt Christie!
We hope everyone else is doing well and we Love You All!

Go Gators

Hello

Hello everyone! Well all is well here in Texas, a little busy with the Pro- Crawler we have. Zasha is all over and having fun doing so. He is growing so quickly and is weighing in around 22lbs! My BIG Boy! He has a great appetite and enjoys eating Puffs, Cheerios, Yogurt Melts and of course Fruits, Veggies and a variety of cereals. Monday I have an interview with a daycare center for employment as well as care for Zasha, please pray for me! Time is flying by so quickly as you all know with Thanksgiving approaching and Christmas to follow. We can't wait for Santa although Zasha won't get it this year, maybe next year he will have more enjoyment. The best part of Christmas this year will be the arrival of Gramma & Grampa Buys! We will truly miss being around the rest of our family on such an occasion, what will I do Christmas morning when I am usually preparing breakfast for 10+ ? I guess I will owe everyone some sort of breakfast goodies. We hope everyone is happy and healthy and much love from the three of us!

Blogging Again!

Hello everyone! I took a week off from the computer, Kylene came to visit and we had a great time. Zasha really got attached to his Aunt Ky. I really enjoyed our week together, too bad it went by so fast! Now we are working on having her come here permanently??? Time will tell. Halloween was a blast we went to Marco & Kim's house for trick or treating and pizza. The kids had a good time and I even raced them to the houses, I guess I never grew up! Zasha made it to about three doors and then he was sound asleep in the stroller going up and down all the hills with Aunt Ky pushing. We took some really great pictures during the week until our camera took a dump. Thank God Kylene shared her memory card with me. Hopefully within the week we will have it back and working. On Thursday October 30th Zasha figured out how to crawl and wow wee, Kylene and I both we crying of excitement!! I can't believe that in one week how many things I need to inform everyone of. We hope everyone is enjoying the Fall Season and stay posted for more pictures. The Smilebox below has music, you might want to stop the music on my play list a little further down. I hope you all enjoy! Lots of Love!!
